CHRISTIAN EDUCATION – CONFIRMATION BEHAVIOR CONTRACT

Our Mission: 

Our mission is to provide a space that is safe, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, so students can know, live and grow in their faith. 

 

Guidelines: 

The following are the overall guidelines for those participating in confirmation ministry at this church: 

 Show Respect – for yourself, for other students, for adults, and for property. 

 Come Prepared – Bring a pen, Bible, Notebook, offering, and a good attitude. 

 Make your Best Effort – Participate in activities. 

 

Consequences:

If you choose not to follow these guidelines, your teacher or a supervising adult will choose any of the consequences listed below to deal with a problem, as he or she deems necessary: 

1. Give a verbal warning. 

2. Remove you from class to work independently with another adult.

3. Make a phone call home. 

4. Set up a Parent/Pastor/student conference. 

 

Parents: 

Know your child’s schedule. Please be prompt when dropping your child off and picking your child up. Please spend time discussing this contract with your child. 

This contract must be signed by both student and his/her parent. The student must return the signed contract prior to beginning classes. If a student does not return a signed contract by the date specified, a phone call will be made home.
