Feed The Hungry

Lunch With Love

Our Congregation, as part of the Ramapo Ecumenical Ministries, assist in providing delicious meals, served at Christ Church of Ramapo, for those in need. We need your help with a few dollars for the main course, like meat, potatoes, salad, veggies and juice.  We feed nearly 100 people every eight or nine weeks. Please consider making a donation each week of a dollar and in eight weeks we would have enough money to buy the food. Monies can be given to Hanelore Renud, Marge Mertens, Diana Farquaharson or to Doris Whalen.  We want to thank all the people who have already given. If you have any questions, contact Doris Whalen at 845-357-0766. Our next time to serve is TBD.

Food Drive

All year, we will be collecting items for our local food pantries and soup kitchens.  Food will be given to "People to People of Nyack" and to our local "REM Soup Kitchen".  Items most needed are peanut butter, canned tuna, canned hams, meats & stews, oatmeal, cereal, canned fruit, greens and vegetables, packaged pasta meals, mac and cheese, pudding packs (unrefrigerated), pancake mix, corn bread mix, cake mixes or grocery store gift cards are always welcome. Our collection station will be in Luther hall where boxers are marked,

Meals on Wheels

Volunteers are separately needed in the Suffern area to deliver meals to the elderly and homebound.  Meals are picked up Monday through Friday at the Suffern Library at 11:40 am. All it takes is an hour to deliver meals.  Please call to volunteer - 624-6235 ext 122.,

Bible Study

Small Group Ministry

"For where two or three are gathered in  my name, I am there among them" - Mathew 18:20.

This fall we will be starting small group ministries. Why Small groups? People grow in small groups. Small groups are more than bible study groups. Just as Jesus meets people where they are, small groups start where people are - not where leader wants them to be. It is desired to have three to seven participants that covenant to meet for a specific length of time around a shared interest.
